What kinds of questions can we ask to get interdepartmental feedback to improve the service we give to each other on a day-to-day basis? We have an “Internal Report Card” that we feel could be more useful, with categories such as service attitude, service orientation, communication, and teamwork.

Another suggestion: Hold an expectations meeting between department leaders where both rate each other to define the expectations they feel are not always met. If leaders are not aware of the expectations other departments have of them, how can they meet or exceed them? I also recommend that leaders who do such ratings explain how often they use the department.
